Processing RajaLuwak Coffee
1. Collecting
The process of RajaLuwak© coffee is collecting raw luwak Coffee on the floor of our coffee plantation. Workers that usually harvest coffee cherries are now gathering Luwak feces

2. Sun drying
The collected Raw Luwak Coffee then sundried to prevent from spoiling, preserve the shape, and taste also to avoid damages by fungus and mold. At this stage, customers can buy this dried-raw-odorless Luwak Coffee as
"Raw RajaLuwak© Coffee"
3. Storage
The Dried Raw Luwak Coffee then goes to our Storage facility. This place usually holds just about 20-30 Kilograms of raw luwak coffee at a time. Luwak coffee is a very rare delicacy and thus, very scarce and hard to obtain.

4. Washing
When and only when the order arrived, we clean the raw Coffee by washing it on running water, soaking it for about 3-4 hours, and then start to crumple up the raw coffee chunks. The cleaning process is continued until all residues beside the coffee beans (which are still inside its parchment) are washed away.

5. Sun drying
Next process after washing is another sun drying. The time vary from 2-5 hours depends on the intensity of sunlight. The easy way to know whether this second sun drying process is completed is when the parchment made a "crackling" sound when pressed, and is easily separated from the coffee green beans

6. Peeling
Coffee beans in this stage still have parchments surround the beans. This parchment has to be removed in order to reveal the green bean inside it. The peeling process is done manually which is why this process is both time, and labor intensive. The output of this process is the Luwak Coffee Green Beans which costumers can buy it as
"RajaLuwak© Coffee Green Beans"
7. Roasting
Coffee brewing is an art, it includes this first step; Roasting. We roast our coffee in a terracotta Wok over a coal burner. The wok ensures an even heat throughout the surface and coal burner gives a richer "smoky flavor" to the coffee. This roasted coffee can be bought by costumer as
"RajaLuwak© Roasted Beans"
8. Grinding
The grinding process uses the traditional Stone Mortar and pestle to achieve fine grind. To ensure homogenous particle size, a sieve is used.

9. Packaging
The powdered coffee is now packaged in a sealed plastic bag and inserted to signature RajaLuwak© Box, ready for shipping. This product known as
"RajaLuwak© Grounded Beans"
